Bioregulator

Category: Bioregulators

A term used for a family of very short peptides, mostly two to four amino acids, developed largely in Russian research and proposed to act on tissue-specific gene expression. The concept originates in a specific research tradition and is not an established pharmacological class internationally; supporting evidence is mostly published outside the mainstream English-language literature.
