No controlled human combination data

No published controlled human study was identified in which CJC-1295 and ipamorelin were given together and a clinical or pharmacologic outcome measured. Vendor synergy, “GH stack” doses, and body-composition claims are not evidence. See component monographs for what is actually known.

Section 1 of 6What this stack means

What this stack means

CJC-1295 + ipamorelin is a catalog / vendor name for co-administering (often co-lyophilizing) two research peptides:

ComponentRoleExisting monograph
CJC-1295GHRH(1-29) analogue (DAC or no-DAC / Mod GRF)Limited/early human data — not approved
IpamorelinSelective GHS-R1a (ghrelin receptor) agonistLimited/early human data — not approved

There is no CAS for the blend. Mechanistic rationale (GHRH receptor + GHS-R1a → GH) is a hypothesis from receptor biology and older GHRH+GHRP literature — not proof for this product.

Legacy slugs ipa-morelin and ghrh-ghrp-blend permanently redirect here. Related but different stack: ghrp-2-cjc-blend (GHRP-2, not ipamorelin).

Section 2 of 6DAC vs no-DAC (critical)

DAC vs no-DAC (critical)

CJC-1295 is sold in two chemically different forms:

FormHalf-life (reported)Strongest human referenceTypical vendor “daily stack” fit?
With DAC (DAC:GRF)~5.8–8.1 days (Teichman 2006)PMID 16352683 — GH↑ / IGF-1↑ after SC dosesPoor match for daily multi-shot marketing
Without DAC / Mod GRF 1-29~30 minutesNo separate approved therapeutic RCT in the component monographUsual match for daily-injection blend marketing

Rules for readers:

  1. Ask which form a vial contains (COA / DAC moiety).
  2. Do not transfer Teichman 2006 DAC monotherapy hormone curves to a no-DAC blend without an explicit disclaimer.
  3. PubChem: with-DAC CID 91971820; without-DAC CID 91976842; ipamorelin CID 9831659.

Component evidence (pointer only)

CJC-1295 with DAC — Teichman et al., 2006 (PMID 16352683)

Two randomised placebo-controlled ascending-dose studies in healthy adults. Single doses raised GH ~2–10× for ≥6 days and IGF-1 ~1.5–3× for 9–11 days; multiple doses kept IGF-1 above baseline up to 28 days. Endpoints were hormones, not body composition, sleep, or recovery.

Ipamorelin

Early work (Raun 1998) describes selective GH release with minimal ACTH/cortisol/prolactin. Human PK/PD (Gobburu 1999): terminal half-life ~2 h; one GH pulse. The only published efficacy RCT (postoperative ileus, Beck 2014 / NCT00672074) missed its primary endpoint. Never approved; WADA S2-related (see component page).

Combination search (2026-10-07)

PubMed “CJC-1295 AND ipamorelin” returned narrative/doping/sports reviews and noise — no primary combination study. No CT.gov registration for the pair was identified.
