No controlled combination data
In the reviewed 2026-10-07 dossier, no controlled study of BPC-157 + KPV as a fixed blend was identified. Claims of synergy, a “gut healing stack protocol,” or a clinical stack dose lack primary literature support. Evidence, where it exists, is component-wise only.
Section 1 of 7What this blend name means
What this blend name means
BPC-157 + KPV (often marketed as a “gut stack”) is a commercial name for a two-peptide mixture — typically co-lyophilised BPC-157 plus KPV in one vial or sold as a paired stack. It is not a covalent conjugate, not a unique API, and not an approved medicine.
Section 2 of 7How it differs from neighbouring blends
How it differs from neighbouring blends
| Name | Typical labelled components | Peptide count |
|---|---|---|
| This page (BPC-157 + KPV) | BPC-157 + KPV | Two |
| GLOW | GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500 | Three |
| KLOW | GHK-Cu + KPV + BPC-157 + TB-500 | Four |
| Wolverine blend | BPC-157 + TB-500 | Two (different pair) |
Explicitly: this stack is not KLOW. Shared marketing language about “gut” or “healing” does not make the products chemically or clinically equivalent.
Section 3 of 7Component evidence (what may be said)
Component evidence (what may be said)
BPC-157
See the BPC-157 monograph. Literature is predominantly preclinical GI/healing work. There is no robust published RCT establishing a GI indication; human evidence remains sparse/anecdotal and must not be transferred into a blend synergy claim. Not an approved medicine.
KPV
See the KPV monograph. Preclinical anti-inflammatory / colitis-model findings exist (e.g. Dalmasso PMID 18061177; Getting PMID 12750433). No well-established human RCT for KPV alone supports a clinical gut-stack claim.
Alias trap — K(D)PT ≠ KPV
K(D)PT (PMID 28092306 (opens in a new tab), Phase IIa ulcerative colitis) is a different tripeptide analogue. Those clinical data must not be attributed to KPV or to the BPC-157 + KPV blend.
Section 4 of 7Combination literature search
Combination literature search
PubMed query "BPC-157" AND KPV (dossier cut 2026-10-07) returned one hit: PMID 42752426 (opens in a new tab) — a pharmacy compounding / PCAC recommendations overview, not an efficacy or interaction study of the pair. No ClinicalTrials.gov intervention study of the combination was identified in that pass.
Section 5 of 7Claims vs evidence
Claims vs evidence
| Claim | Assessment |
|---|---|
| Two-peptide vendor blend exists as a catalog name | Supported (market / gap list) — not medical effect |
| Controlled study of BPC-157 + KPV together | Missing |
| Synergistic gut healing | Unsupported |
| Stack = sum of component preclinical literature | Qualified hypothesis only — hypothesis ≠ measured combo result |
| K(D)PT UC data = KPV or this blend | False |
| Same product as KLOW | False |
| Approved / dose established | False |
