Privacy Policy
PeptideInfo Wiki is a privacy-first, cookie-free educational reference. This policy explains what limited data is processed when you visit peptideinfo.wiki.
Last updated: 26 June 2026
Who is responsible (data controller)
The controller responsible for any personal data processed on this website is the operator of peptideinfo.wiki, established in Spain, and can be reached at info@peptideinfo.wiki. This site is an independent educational reference and processes only the minimal data described below.
Our privacy-by-design approach
This website is intentionally minimal. We do not:
- set cookies or use local/session storage;
- use analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or advertising;
- embed third-party scripts, social widgets, or external fonts (fonts are self-hosted, so no data is sent to third-party font providers);
- operate user accounts, newsletters, or comment systems;
- sell, rent, or share personal data.
Because we set no non-essential cookies and run no tracking, no cookie-consent banner is required.
What is processed, and why
Server access logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site. This may include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser/operating system (user agent). Under the GDPR an IP address can be personal data.
- Purpose: to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website and to prevent abuse.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interests in running a secure, functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: logs are kept only for as long as necessary for these purposes — typically a short period of days to weeks — and are then deleted or anonymised.
Search. The on-site search runs in your browser; search terms you type are not stored by us. If you use a shareable search URL (/search?q=…), the term appears in the URL and may appear in standard server logs as above.
Hosting and international transfers
This website is hosted within the EU/EEA. Where a processor (such as a hosting provider) is used, it acts under a data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). We do not intentionally transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA; if any transfer occurs, it is safeguarded by an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@peptideinfo.wiki.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The operator’s lead authority is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD); you may also complain to the authority in your own country of residence.
Children
This site is an educational reference intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or the law. The “last updated” date above indicates the current version.
